Mirrors, windows and sliding glass doors are all ways of seeing things which are pretty similar but are pretty different. Mirrors in literature births a reflection of something in similarity to. For example a book of a person wanting to be a stripper when he was 6 to then wanting to become a doctor at 12 would be a mirror of myself because that reflects my thoughts clearly to see similarity. Windows spill into new seeing or adventures. In literature windows represent a view into something new for example a book based on human furies would be a window because it something i'm not so familiar with so if read a book based on furies and their life it would be something strange for me. Sliding glass doors, readers have to walk through in imagination to become part of whatever created by the author. Recognizing each of these aspects in books could really help the reader get a better understanding of themselves more by them reading something that's in similarity or a view of difference and we can appreciate another culture more and get a better understanding of each others concepts/way of life. In the book "Knock,Knock" I find myself in this book because in the beginning of the book the boy has a good relationship with his father and I also have a good relationship with my father. And he used to tell me stories like the narrator father did for him. This helped me because it made me embrace the good of my father and made me think of the great things my father did for me. In the book "Fire Bird" I find myself in this book because the narrator and misty has a close connection and misty is always there for her which this mirrors me and my moms bond, my mom has been there through thick and thin, behind the scenes and in front with everything I have attended in in life. This helped me because it made me embrace the amazing things of love and support my mom gives me. In the book "Thunder Boy Jr." I find myself in this book because me and the little boy shares a heavy similarity on our names. The kid in “Thunder Boy Jr.” Hates his name even though he loves is father. And which is similar to me but to a certain instinct I love my parents and I like the fact that I was named by/after them but I do feel like my name is generic and not unique and I also feel like my name doesn't do justice to describe thee. This helped me because it gave me an outlook on a similar situation I have and made me realize that some people can/have similar thoughts as you. - These elements importance:
