Copyright infringement is the use of works without the permission of the creator/owner. Copyright works in a good and bad way in the entertainment/publishing scene. It works in a positive way by not allowing people to make a profit or use the content with whatever motive the user wants to use it with. It works in a negative way by making it a more superior view over the facts. Meaning if a person was to write a book and someone was to steal the book and copyright it before the actual creator in the court of law the person with the copyright would be the owner and nothing could change that (basically). In a vague sentence copyright hinders people that makes thoughts off copyright content but then again it does and can be taken advantage. In my gracious opinion I believe the content owner/creator should enforce the rules on their content in which they have copyrighted. Besides that the law should be a counselor. In my opinion most things that come about in the world today are based off of other people's ideas or thoughts. The basic for an idea without an influence is over for the most part and is very rare. People create things like music and movies etc. off of an original which is not organically all of here work but allows creativity to arise without an organic thought. A celebrity by the name of Jennifer Lopez decided to appreciate herself in a photo and posted it on her social media, for the paparazzi who took the photo of Jennifer to see it and copyright strike the image which later down the line resolves in a lawsuit. Who would think that if someone was to take a picture of your body post it for money and can get money out of you for using it. This incident block Jennifer from expressing the creativity and feeling on his image. She was to then remove the photo until further action. Jennifer could not be creative in the caption and express anything which was a hindrance to her creativity/thoughts. In school copyright is very difficult. Almost every time we are to do an essay or research information have to cite the source. If we fail to cite the source we are deemed as a plagiarizer, when in all seriousness the layout was simple for the user to understand and easy to reflect ideas from than a fair use/creative commons cite. Fair use/Creative common sites and informative's doesn't really want to give you the research information needed it typically vague and difficult to understand.
